Production Company Shares Details About Song Hye Kyo’s New Drama Written By Kim Eun Sook
Previously, it was confirmed that the actress will be joining hands with Kim Eun Sook once again for a new project.
On January 8, production company Hwa & Dam Pictures shared, “Kim Eun Sook’s new drama is titled ‘The Glory.'”
“The Glory” is a sad revenge story that begins with a high school student who dreamed of becoming an architect. However, she had to drop out of school after suffering from brutal school violence. Years later, the perpetrator gets married and has a kid. Once the kid is in elementary school, the former victim becomes their homeroom teacher and starts her thorough revenge towards the perpetrators and bystanders of her bullying days.
The pre-produced series will consist of multiple seasons, and the first one will be eight episodes long. The broadcast station as well as the specific airing schedule have not been determined yet. However, as the production team and the lead actress have been confirmed, filming will begin in the second half of this year.
Hwa & Dam Pictures stated, “‘The Glory’ will contain the interesting storyline of writer Kim Eun Sook, the perfect acting transformation of Song Hye Kyo, and the powerful and delicate producing of director Ahn Gil Ho, so everyone can look forward to it.”
Song Hye Kyo previously appeared in Kim Eun Sook’s 2016 drama “Descendants of the Sun,” which was a massive hit.
