January Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for girl groups!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various girl groups, using big data collected from December 10, 2020 to January 10, 2021.

BLACKPINK held onto their spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 4,695,457 for January. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Lovesick Girls,” “How You Like That,” and “Whistle,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “hold,” “surpass,” and “record.” BLACKPINK’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 74.16 percent positive reactions.

TWICE similarly maintained their position at second place with a brand reputation index of 4,178,019 for the month.

Finally, IZ*ONE rose to third place in the rankings after seeing a 13 percent increase in their brand reputation index since December. The group’s total score came out to 3,802,710 for January.
