Below are the different relationship dynamics viewers can observe in “Run On”!

Spoilers

Ki Sun Kyum & Lee Young Hwa

Although Ki Sun Kyum has a strange personality that tends to make other people flustered, Lee Young Hwa embraces this easily with his trademark bright personality. Furthermore, the two realized each other’s true feelings for Oh Mi Joo and Seo Dan Ah early on, and their relationship became stronger as they started to help each other out. When Ki Sun Kyum was in low spirits at the thought of having to leave Oh Mi Joo’s house, Lee Young Hwa stayed by his side with drinks and honey all night long. Similarly, Ki Sun Kyum gave Lee Young Hwa a ticket to the movie screening event Seo Dan Ah was planning to attend when Lee Young Hwa said he missed her, and he promised to continue to help connect Lee Young Hwa with Seo Dan Ah. Viewers are excited to continue watching the two work together to support each other’s separate love interests.

Oh Mi Joo & Seo Dan Ah

Although they started off on the wrong foot when they first met, Oh Mi Joo and Seo Dan Ah’s chemistry as they bicker has been making viewers smile. Seo Dan Ah enjoys teasing Oh Mi Joo because of her hilarious reactions, especially since Oh Mi Joo refuses to back down. Oh Mi Joo also becomes uncharacteristically childish in front of Seo Dan Ah. The production team shared, “Mi Joo and Dan Ah’s chemistry, in which they bicker but also unintentionally support each other, will come to shine in the future. Just as Dan Ah made Sun Kyum and Mi Joo closer by using a plan to create jealously, Mi Joo will play a role in making the DanHwa couple’s (Seo Dan Ah and Lee Young Hwa’s) relationship stronger.”

Ki Sun Kyum & Seo Dan Ah

Since Ki Sun Kyum and Seo Dan Ah grew up in similar environments and have known each other for a long time, they have a deep understanding of the circumstances surrounding the other. However, their vastly different dispositions have led them to reach different conclusions in every situation, so they’ve kept a certain distance despite having moments in which they also supported each other. Due to their backgrounds, Ki Sun Kyum’s and Seo Dan Ah’s fathers have planned their marriage without discussing with their children. Viewers are curious to find out what conclusion the two characters will reach in this difficult situation.

Oh Mi Joo & Lee Young Hwa

Both Oh Mi Joo and Lee Young Hwa have great affection for films. Oh Mi Joo loves films to the extent that she made a career out of it because they provide her with great comfort, and Lee Young Hwa naturally opened his eyes to the world of film through painting. Although the scene in which they talked about their love for films was short, viewers could clearly see the great chemistry between the two characters. Unlike Ki Sun Kyum, whom Oh Mi Joo has a difficult time understanding despite speaking the same language, she finds it easy to get along with Lee Young Hwa no matter what they talk about. Since they’ll be likely to meet up more frequently as neighbors in the future, viewers are curious to see what support they’ll provide for each other’s love lives.
