Update: (G)I-DLE Tops Domestic Charts And iTunes Charts Around The World With Latest Comeback

(G)I-DLE’s latest comeback is performing well on both international and domestic music charts!

On January 13, Cube Entertainment released a statement saying that (G)I-DLE’s new mini album, “I burn,” has topped iTunes Top Albums charts in 51 regions around the world, including the Netherlands, New Zealand, Canada, Russia, Brazil, Italy, and Finland.

(G)I-DLE’s “HWAA” is another big hit for the group!

On January 11 at 6 p.m. KST, (G)I-DLE returned with their fourth mini album “I burn” and its title track “HWAA.” Member Soyeon co-composed and wrote the lyrics for the song.

Immediately after the track’s release, “HWAA” hit No. 1 on the realtime charts of major music sites Genie and Bugs. On Melon’s 24Hit chart, it entered at No. 98 and continued to rise in the rankings, reaching a peak so far of No. 10 at 6 p.m. KST on January 12. It’s also grabbed high rankings on FLO and NAVER VIBE. Meanwhile, their other songs from the new album have been charting well.

One of (G)I-DLE’s goals for their album had been to take No. 1 on music charts, and they shared, “We feel like we’re dreaming. This is all thanks to [our fans] Neverland. For this album, we put in more thought and effort than ever, and we’re sincerely thankful that you’ve shown so much love.”
