BewhY And Khundi Panda's Agency Issues Apology For Their Improper Attitude On "Kiss The Radio"

BewhY and Khundi Panda are under fire for their alleged rude attitude and behavior on “DAY6’s Kiss the Radio.”

On January 15, the two rappers appeared as guests on the radio show where they refused multiple fan requests and used improper language.

One fan asked for them to rap live, but Khundi Panda replied, “I forgot the lyrics. I want to do it, but I’ll practice and do it next time.” When the radio host DAY6’s Young K asked BewhY to try an acrostic, the rapper firmly refused, saying, “It’s impossible.”

Another listener asked, “How about you rap each other’s songs? Will that be possible?” To that, they responded, “Is it possible? We didn’t practice that before, so we probably can’t do it today.”

One fan asked Khundi Panda to say her name, adding that it’s her wish for the new year. To that, he answered, “I don’t feel like doing it,” but in the end he did with reluctance.

The two rappers also used language that was inappropriate for radio shows, which Young K had to rephrase in a way that was proper for broadcast. BewhY mentioned Khundi Panda’s rap skills, saying, “First off, he’s [swear word] good,” and Young K remarked, “He’s very good.” Furthermore, they filmed the studio with their cell phones and didn’t leave them on silent during the radio show.

On January 16, their agency Dejavu Group issued an apology on behalf of them. They said, “Our artists BewhY and Khundi Panda appeared on ‘DAY6’s Kiss the Radio’ on January 15 at 10 p.m. KST and made the listeners uncomfortable with their inappropriate attitude. We sincerely apologize for that.”

They continued, “We apologize for the inconvenience that everyone, including Young K of DAY6, the staff of ‘DAY6’s Kiss the Radio,’ and fans of DAY6, have experienced. We reviewed the content of the show and reflected on the discomfort the listeners may have felt.”

The label added, “We personally contacted the production crew and the DJ to express our deepest apology, and we are sorry for making a late apology, as we needed to take some time to offer our sincerest apologies. We hope this may somehow placate those who have been disappointed or uncomfortable about the broadcast, and once again, we apologize for everything.”
