Updated February 4 KST:

John Park’s agency Music Farm confirmed on February 2 that the singer has tested negative for COVID-19 and was discharged on January 24. It’s said that following the end of his quarantine, John Park is currently focusing on writing music.

After his discharge, John Park wrote on social media, “I’m sorry to worry you, and thank you for supporting me. I’ve been discharged from the residential treatment center and I’ve come to my studio. I’ve been doing well, without any issues, thanks to the hard work of the healthcare workers.”

“They must be very worn out after being unable to take a proper day’s rest, but they always spoke to me in a cheerful and warm way during every appointment, and that made me emotional,” he continued. “To the healthcare workers, whom I admire, I hope that you will be healthy.”
