Song Ji Hyo Transforms Into '80s Schoolgirl And Lead Singer Of A Band For "Running Man"
Get ready for a fun retro-themed episode of “Running Man”!
On the upcoming January 24 episode of the SBS variety show, the “Running Man” members will be traveling back in time to become high school students from the 1980s.
After Song Ji Hyo’s transformation into a cute 20th-century schoolgirl—complete with pigtails and an ‘80s perm—caught the eye of viewers and received an explosive response after just a seconds-long preview, the producers of “Running Man” have now shared a sneak peek of her standout retro look.
In the newly released photos, Song Ji Hyo sports an old-school uniform and sneakers as the lead singer of her school band. With her bandmates HaHa and Yang Se Chan accompanying her, Song Ji Hyo is said to have passionately sung her heart out during filming. She also reportedly thrilled her fellow “Running Man” members with her dancing, which livened up the atmosphere on set as she dominated the dance floor.
However, Song Ji Hyo’s command of the classroom didn’t end there: when the other members got caught attempting to cheat, the actress is said to have exuded an intimidating aura that had them cowering in fear as she warned them, “Don’t joke around.”
To see Song Ji Hyo’s transformation into a charismatic high school student, tune in to the next episode of “Running Man” on January 24 at 5 p.m. KST!
