Watch: SF9's Rowoon Playfully Rejects Won Jin Ah's Attempts To Act Cute In "She Would Never Know"
JTBC has shared another behind-the-scenes look at Won Jin Ah and SF9’s Rowoon on the set of “She Would Never Know”!
“She Would Never Know” is a drama about the complicated office romance between two co-workers on the marketing team for a cosmetics brand called Klar. Won Jin Ah stars as the perfectionist Yoon Song Ah, while Rowoon plays her dashing younger colleague Chae Hyun Seung.
The behind-the-scenes video covers the scene in episode 3 in which Chae Hyun Seung has dinner and drinks with Yoon Song Ah to comfort her. Rowoon pretends to place the order but both actors are flustered when someone actually replies behind the cameras. Won Jin Ah then jokes about Rowoon being a good drinker in real life and pokes fun at him when he says his lines in a sleazy tone.
As the actors wait between scenes, Rowoon begins singing a bit of the song “This Is the Moment” from the musical “Jekyll & Hyde.” Won Jin Ah is impressed by his deep voice and comments while singing along that he should do a musical someday. After filming an emotional moment between their characters, the director quips to Rowoon, “Shouldn’t you ask her, ‘Shall we date?’ now?” Won Jin Ah picks up a soju bottle and says sleazily, “If you drink this, you’ll have to date me,” causing Rowoon to joke, “I need to call a taxi and leave right now.”
The next scene features the two characters having ice cream together outside. Won Jin Ah notices that their Melona ice cream has been edited to read “Meloda” to avoid product placement, and Rowoon is fascinated by the “new brand” until he realizes that it’s a sticker. Won Jin Ah then acts cute by dancing to TWICE’s “TT,” but Rowoon just stares blankly at her until she gives him a look, at which moment he averts his eyes.
At the end, Rowoon comments on how good the ice cream is when production staff member asks frantically for the prop back so that he doesn’t eat it all. (The ice cream is real, but it must look the same between shots as the cameras film different takes.) Rowoon jokes, “Okay, I’ll give it back. I’m not a beggar. Please don’t misunderstand. I can afford to buy my own ice cream.” However, he is very happy when he gets it back and puts it in his mouth and turns around just as Won Jin Ah delivers a crucial line. He cracks up at the unexpected moment, apologizing, “I’m sorry, I didn’t realize we were acting.”
