"Mr. Queen" Ratings Hit New All-Time High + "Love (Ft. Marriage And Divorce)" Breaks Own TV Chosun Record
Both tvN’s “Mr. Queen” and TV Chosun’s “Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce)” show no signs of slowing down!
On January 30, the latest episode of “Mr. Queen” achieved the drama’s highest viewership ratings yet. According to Nielsen Korea, the hit drama scored an average nationwide rating of 14.5 percent and a peak of 17.1 percent, taking first place in its time slot across all channels—including public broadcast networks—and setting a new personal record.
“Mr. Queen” also reached a new all-time high among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored an average nationwide rating of 8.5 percent and a peak of 9.6 percent. Additionally, the drama remained first place in its time slot across all channels (including public broadcast networks) for every age range of viewers from their 10s to their 50s, both male and female.
Meanwhile, “Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce)” managed to break its own record for the highest viewership ratings ever achieved by any drama in TV Chosun history. The third episode of the new drama scored an average nationwide rating of 8.9 percent and a peak of 9.5 percent, marking a new record for not only the show, but the network as well.
Over in the public broadcast network realm, KBS 2TV’s “Homemade Love Story” continued its reign as the most-watched drama of Saturday night. The latest episode of the popular drama scored average nationwide ratings of 26.3 percent and 31.8 percent for its two parts.
