Watch: NCT's Doyoung Discovers A Mysterious Cafe And Love In Drama Teaser

A teaser video gives a look at a new fantasy drama featuring NCT member Doyoung making his acting debut!

The time and space transcending drama “Cafe Midnight Season 3: The Curious Stalker” is the third season of the “Cafe Midnight” series. The show is set in a cafe on a mountainside road in Busan that doesn’t appear on a map, and the shop opens at midnight and closes its doors when the sun rises.

Doyoung takes the role of Ji Woo, a high school student who’s perfect in everything from his appearance to his personality. He matures from experiencing a mix of chaotic feelings from having a mother who’s losing her memories and heart-racing excitement from developing feelings for a female friend.

Rookie actress Kim In Yi co-stars as the beautiful and cheerful Sun Min, who is Ji Woo’s classmate and is preparing to move to Seoul after being chosen to be an idol trainee. She’s a direct person who doesn’t hide her feelings for Ji Woo. Meanwhile, Shin Joo Hwan reprises his role as the mysterious “master” of the cafe, who listens to the stories of the cafe’s customers and provides comfort and advice.

The teaser begins with a package arriving and the cafe’s master says, “It looks like we’ve received news about someone.” Ji Woo looks at a map as he travels through a dark street, eventually finding the cafe. Sun Min is working at the cafe and starts to welcome him, but she quickly hides when she realizes who he is.

As they watch the cafe’s customers inside, Ji Woo asks her, “What kind of place is this?” She replies, “Should I say that it’s like we’re Alice who’s been invited to Wonderland?”

Sun Min tells someone excitedly, “We got a sneak peek at the future,” and she also asks, “So can people from the past change the future?” The two friends get closer in and out of school, and Sun Min says, “There’s only one day left of the time you’ve been given.”

Ji Woo asks the master, “So if things change like that, then Sun Min in two years won’t be able to return here, right?” The master replies, “Cherish it as a memory of the future.” Sun Min tells the master that the cafe is a little suspicious, and he wistfully looks at a painting that’s dated December 24, 1914.

A caption describes the cafe as “A place where you’ll meet time that’s already passed, or that may come in the future.”
