Rain In Talks To Star In His 1st Drama In 2 Years

Rain may be making his long-awaited return to the small screen!

On February 5, a representative of Rain’s agency officially confirmed, “[Rain] is currently in talks to appear in the drama ‘Ghost Doctor,’ with a favorable outlook.”

“Ghost Doctor” is described as a drama which will mix the medical genre with the intriguing subject matter of ghosts. The series will be helmed by producing director (PD) Boo Sung Chul, known for the hit dramas “Heirs” and “Jang Ok Jung, Lives in Love,” and penned by “Live Up to Your Name” writer Kim Eun Hee.

Should Rain accept his offer to star in “Ghost Doctor,” it will mark his first drama since 2019, when he starred in MBC’s “Welcome 2 Life.”

“Ghost Doctor” is currently scheduled to air sometime in the second half of 2021.
