The battle for weekend drama ratings remains as fierce as ever!

On February 7, tvN’s hit drama “Mr. Queen” continued its winning streak at first place in its time slot across all channels, even including public broadcast networks. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of the drama scored an average nationwide rating of 14.8 percent and a peak of 17.7 percent, marking a slight increase in viewership from the night before.

“Mr. Queen” also remained first place in its time slot across all channels (including public broadcast networks) among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored an average nationwide rating of 8.5 percent and a peak of 9.8 percent. Notably, the drama took first place in its time slot for every age range of viewers from their 10s to their 50s, both male and female.

Despite the stiff competition from “Mr. Queen,” viewership ratings for TV Chosun’s “Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce)”—which airs in the same time slot—stayed relatively strong. The latest episode of the drama scored an average nationwide rating of 8.1 percent, marking a modest decrease from its record-breaking previous episode.

Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Homemade Love Story” enjoyed a significant increase in viewership for its latest episode, which scored average nationwide ratings of 31.4 percent and 32.8 percent for its two parts.
