SBS’s “Master in the House” will be undergoing a change in producing directors (PDs).

On February 9, Ilgan Sports reported that Lee Se Young, the main PD of “Master in the House,” would be stepping down from the show in order to prepare for the launch of a new show. Taking her place will be Kim Jung Wook, who helped co-direct “Master in the House” in its early stages.

Later, a source from SBS confirmed the news and said, “PD Lee Se Young is taking a temporary break before beginning preparations for a new show. PD Kim Jung Wook has been chosen as her replacement. We have made this decision in order to develop the show in a new direction.”

Lee Se Young has been the main PD of “Master in the House” since its launch on December 31, 2017. PD Kim Jung Wook has also worked on variety shows such as “Little Forest” and “If That Came On TV (Telegna).”

Recently, it was also reported that Hwang Ji Young, the main PD of MBC’s “Home Alone (I Live Alone),” would also be stepping down from the show and being replaced by Heo Hang.

“Master in the House” is a show in which the cast spends a night at the houses of “masters” in various fields and learning about their lives and perspectives. It currently stars Lee Seung Gi, Yang Se Hyung, Shin Sung Rok, Kim Dong Hyun, and ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo. Former cast members include Lee Sang Yoon and BTOB’s Yook Sungjae.
