Shin Hye Sun And Kim Jung Hyun Share Thoughts Ahead Of Final 2 Episodes Of "Mr. Queen"

As tvN’s “Mr. Queen” heads into its final week, stars Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun talked about their experience filming the drama—and what to look forward to in the remaining episodes!

Shin Hye Sun, who has delivered countless laughs through her masterful performance as Kim So Yong, spoke fondly about the hit drama as she prepared for its impending conclusion.

“Time has gone by so quickly, and now we’re already approaching the end of the drama,” remarked the actress. She went on, “[‘Mr. Queen’] is a drama that gave me many different kinds of experiences and challenges.”

“These days, [the situation worldwide] has made it hard to smile and feel at peace,” she continued, “so I hope that viewers were able to laugh while watching ‘Mr. Queen,’ even if just for a moment. I sincerely thank all the fans who have been watching ‘Mr. Queen’ up until now.”

Kim Jung Hyun, who has stolen viewers’ hearts with his impressive acting as the multifaceted Cheoljong, similarly expressed his gratitude to the drama’s fans.

“Being able to gift viewers with laughter in this difficult time was a huge joy for me, so much so that I couldn’t ask for anything more,” said the actor. “I hope that viewers won’t forget our characters, who showed that anything could be achieved through hope and aspiration.”

He humbly went on, “I’m truly grateful to the viewers who took the time out of their busy lives to watch ‘Mr. Queen’ and made it possible for me to be a part of their lives through the drama, even for a little bit.”

As for what viewers should keep an eye on in the final two episodes of “Mr. Queen,” Kim Jung Hyun shared, “I hope that you will tune in to find out what fate has in store for Kim So Yong and Cheoljong, and I also hope you’ll keep an eye on Cheoljong’s story of growth.”

The actor also brought up his upcoming contribution to the drama’s soundtrack, adding, “Please also look forward to my [upcoming song for the] OST, for which I personally participated in singing and writing the lyrics.”
