1. “XX

Hani and Hwang Seung Eon star in this drama respectively as Yoon Nana and Lee Rumi, two friends who have become enemies following a cheating incident that happened five years ago. Nana is a kindhearted and skilled head bartender who aspires to buy her own bar one day. Rumi is a fervent entrepreneur who will stop at nothing to scout Nana for her bar, which stirs up many unpleasant memories for the two of them. The drama tackles loyalty, revenge, and forgiveness in an intense setting that will have you holding your breath and perhaps your drink(s) too.

2. “Twenty-Twenty

Brought to you by the creators of the popular web drama “A-TEEN,” “Twenty Twenty” is a coming-of-age story about a group of 20-something young adults who are on a soul-searching journey. In order to pursue their dreams, they must tackle the hurdles of adulthood as they get a taste of both freedom and responsibility. The star-studded cast features Han Sung Min, UP10TION’s Kim Woo Seok, Park Sang Nam, A.C.E.’s Chan, Chae Won Bin, and Jin Ho Eun.

3. “Ending Again

“Ending Again” tells the story of Chan In Young (played by Jo Soo Min) and Do Yoon Soo (played by Kim Geon Won) who engage in a fake marriage in order to receive the governmental financial support that helps newly married couples rent a home. In Young has another motive behind this marriage contract: to seek revenge against her ex-boyfriend who left her after being together for almost a decade. Fraud, vengeance, and tangled feelings, this web drama is a recipe for guaranteed entertainment!

4. “Romance Talking”

Dayeon (Kim Seo Yeon) is a college student who works part-time at a bar and enjoys communicating (using an anonymous ID) with her favorite YouTuber Hyunwoo (Choi Kyung Hoon) via his online relationship advice show. While she tries to come to terms with her feelings, Hyunwoo suddenly makes an appearance on campus, as he has recently joined her school. The love triangle is complete with Woojae (Jung Hyo Jun) who is Dayeon’s thoughtful manager at the bar. This romance drama changes slightly from the usual web drama scenario, especially with the additional detail about the pressure of being with a celebrity. Tangled as it gets, you’re bound to be kept on your toes while watching it.

5. “Best Mistake 2

This is the second installment of the “Best Mistake” series and follows Kim Yeon Do (played by Lee Eun Jae), a hardworking high school student whose love interest happens to be Ji Hyun Ho (played by Kang Yul), one of the most popular boys in school. Their relationship is put to the test when a fiery love triangle takes place, as another suitor joins the equation. The romances between different characters are vividly present throughout the storyline, and naturally, drama occurs as a result!

6. “The World of My 17

This is another high school drama, but the plot definitely earns it a spot here. Oh My Girl’s Arin, Hwang Bo Reum Byeol, Han Chae Kyung, and FANATICS’ Do Ah star as Oh Na Ri, Im Yoo Na, Seo Mi Rae, and Im Sun Ji, respectively. The 17-year-old quartet forms a special friendship that helps them through high school and life struggles in general. Self-acceptance and genuine relationships are the core themes of this storyline, and needless to say, they make quite the heartwarming watch.

7. “Kiss Goblin

“Kiss Goblin” tells the story of Ban Sook (Bae In Hyuk), a centenarian goblin who goes on an interesting mission on Earth to become mortal. His mission is to kiss humans 10 times in order to turn into a human himself, but he soon finds out that consequences accompany his seemingly easy task. The drama focuses on the complexity of human feelings and their overall impact on romance, which we get to experience up close through Ban Sook’s emotional journey.

8. “My Secret Star

What’s a web drama list without a Hallyu star trope? Sung Hoon plays Jin, a Hallyu star who would do anything to keep his fans happy, even if it means telling a few lies. Hoang Yen Chibi plays Chi Mai, a nosy celebrity journalist who is certain that her career’s next big scoop lies with Jin. She does everything in her power to figure out what he is hiding, but once she finds out his secret, she is conflicted about the consequences of revealing the truth. This short tale is about love, empathy, trust, and ideally a juicy plot twist.

9. “Pop Out Boy!

Based on a popular webtoon of the same name, “Pop Out Boy!” stars Kim Min Kyu as Chun Nam Wook, the male protagonist of a manhwa (Korean comic) who steps out of his two-dimensional world to find himself in the real world. Weki Meki’s Kim Doyeon plays Han Sun Nyeo, a high school student who bears the same name and face as the female protagonist from Chun Nam Wook’s manhwa. The development of the characters and their feelings throughout this chaotic drama sends viewers on an imminent rollercoaster of emotions that you don’t want to miss!

10. “Dalgona”

This web drama stars WJSN’s Eunseo as Song Mi Na, a high school student who suffered from bullying in middle school, which drove her to move to the States for a while before her return to South Korea. Thinking that she has finally escaped her traumatic past, she finds out that her bully has transferred to her school and is planning on continuing her old habits. This drama addresses bullying, favoritism, and ethics while highlighting the power of friendship. It’s definitely worth the watch!
