Big Hit Entertainment Invests In AI Audio Company Supertone

Big Hit Entertainment is taking steps to enhance fans’ digital experience!

On February 25, Supertone CEO Lee Kyo Gu announced that Big Hit Entertainment had invested 4 billion won (approximately $3.6 million) into the company. Supertone is an artificial intelligence (AI) audio company that provides world-renowned voice synthesis and real-time voice enhancement technology.

In particular, Supertone received praise for being able to touch the hearts of many with its innovative technology in programs such as “AI Music Project – Once Again” (literal title) conducted with CJ ENM and “AI vs. Human” (literal title) conducted with SBS.

Along these lines, it was said that the programs set forth a good example of contemplating a future accompanied by AI.

With the significance of online media content more prevalent than ever due to COVID-19, Supertone is set to utilize the investment to improve upon related technologies and join in the effort to create content that delivers joy to more people.
