f(x)’s Krystal In Talks For Drama B1A4’s Jinyoung And Cha Tae Hyun Are Considering
On March 9, Ilgan Sports reported that Krystal will be starring in the new KBS2 drama “Police Academy” (working title). In response, the actress’s agency H&Entertainment stated, “An offer to star in ‘Police Academy’ was received and is currently being considered.”
At the moment, Cha Tae Hyun and B1A4’s Jinyoung, along with Lee Jong Hyuk, are currently in talks to also star in the romantic comedy drama.
“Police Academy” will revolve around a 19-year-old police academy student that sets off on a journey of self-realization towards his dreams and love after meeting his professors and friends. This will be the first time a drama is set at the prestigious police academy of Korea.
Krystal has been offered the role of Oh Kang Hee, a freshman at the academy who dreamed of becoming a police officer while her friends played with princess dolls. The police catch the bad guys, so they were the princes in her eyes. She took judo classes while her friends learned ballet, and her wish on her 12th birthday was to receive a set of handcuffs. She has a good head on her shoulders and is righteous to her core.
Last fall, Krystal left her longtime agency SM Entertainment and joined actors Joo Ji Hoon, Jung Ryeo Won, and more at H&Entertainment. If she decides to join “Police Academy,” she will transition from a soldier in her drama “Search” to a police officer.
