BTS has now officially claimed another Guinness World Records title with “Dynamite”!

On March 16, Guinness World Records  shared that they’ve now confirmed that “Dynamite” has earned the title of “Most simultaneous viewers for a music video on YouTube Premieres” after its MV premiere was watched by over 3 million concurrent viewers.

BTS has reclaimed the title they first earned with the music video for “ON” (1.54 million viewers on February 27, 2020), before BLACKPINK took the title with 1.65 million viewers watching the premiere of their “How You Like That” MV on June 26, 2020.

BTS’s “Dynamite” came out on August 21, 2020, and according to YouTube’s official numbers, the MV garnered 101.1 million views in the 24 hours after its release.

Guinness World Records confirmed back in September that the MV had scored the titles of “Most viewed YouTube video in 24 hours,” “Most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours,” and “Most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a K-pop group.” At the time, the organization had stated that they were waiting on confirmation from YouTube regarding the record for most viewers on a YouTube premiere.

BTS also holds other Guinness World Records titles including best-selling album (South Korea)most viewers for a music concert live stream, most Twitter engagements, and more.

Congratulations to BTS!
