tvN has shared a look at the cast of “Mouse” sharing their own commentary on episodes 1-4!

“Mouse” is about a police officer named Jung Ba Reum (Lee Seung Gi) and a hardened detective named Go Moo Chi (Lee Hee Joon) who go hunting for an evil predator described as being in the “top 1 percent of psychopaths.”

In the episode commentary, the actors watch key scenes from the drama and share their insights into their character, what went on behind the scenes, and more. Lee Seung Gi describes Jung Ba Reum as an innocent and naive young man but adds cheekily, “There might be a twist somewhere in there… but I can’t tell you because I don’t know what’s going to happen yet either.”

One of the scenes that the actors watch together is the one-take scene in which Kyung Soo Jin and Lee Hee Joon have a conversation that starts off upstairs in the police station, heads down the stairs, and ends outside the station. The entire scene, including all the dialogue and action, is filmed in a single take. Lee Seung Gi and Park Ju Hyun are impressed by Kyung Soo Jin and Lee Hee Joon’s ability to deliver an intense amount of dialogue in a single take, as well as the fancy camerawork.

In the next scene, the actors are captivated by the charms of Kim Young Ok, who plays Oh Bong Yi (Park Ju Hyun’s character)’s grandmother. As Jung Ba Reum and Oh Bong Yi share a meal together, she gives them fond looks and Oh Bong Yi ends up storming out of the room in disgust. Kyung Soo Jin says, “It’s like we’re watching a totally different drama!” But Lee Seung Gi says, “Even though this was a lighthearted scene, the scene before it was really dark and gruesome. Even when terrible things happen to a person, they can sometimes still eat and go on like usual. I think the drama shows that balance really well.”

Kyung Soo Jin is asked to pick between Sung Yo Han (Kwon Hwa Woon) and Go Moo Chi. She says, “Yo Han brings out a maternal instinct,” and the others make fun of her for choosing Yo Han when Go Moo Chi (Lee Hee Joon) is right there. Later, she says about her character, “I’m a big fan of the show ‘Unanswered Questions,’ and I’ve seen almost every episode. That’s how I’d absorbed all the gestures for that kind of educational social program.”
