Watch: THE BOYZ Gives Fans 1st Up-Close Look At Their New Light Stick In Unboxing Video

THE BOYZ has given fans a sneak peek of their brand-new official light stick!

On March 20, THE BOYZ thrilled fans with a surprise announcement that their first official light stick was “coming soon.”

Fans were so excited by the news—and the first glimpse of THE BOYZ’s light stick design—that “#THEBOYZ_LIGHTSTICK,” “THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER,” and “LIGHTSTICK” all began trending on Twitter shortly after the announcement.

Later that day, THE BOYZ held a special Naver V Live “Light Stick Unboxing” broadcast in which they gave fans their first good look at the new design.

Resembling a heart-shaped megaphone, THE BOYZ’s light stick boasts several color options, including red, white, and a swirling rainbow. In their broadcast, the group personally demonstrated the different options, proudly adding that the light stick is extremely bright in person.

THE BOYZ also shared that they have not yet named the light stick, asking fans to contribute ideas for potential names. However, Juyeon and New suggested the cute name “Heart Bbyong Bong,” which plays off the Korean word for stick (“bong“) and the popular Korean phrase “heart bbyong bbyong.”
