Watch: "Kingdom" Contestants Share Self-Filmed Footage From Practice Rooms Ahead Of Premiere

Mnet’s “Kingdom” has revealed a set of greetings from each of the six competing groups!

“Kingdom” is the male version of Mnet’s competition program “Queendom.” The groups competing on the show are THE BOYZ, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, BTOB, iKON, and SF9. THE BOYZ won the preliminary season “Road to Kingdom,” in which seven male groups competed for a spot on the show.

In the new video, each group is busy with preparations for the big kickoff. BTOB’s Minhyuk, iKON’s Yunhyeong, and SF9’s Jaeyoon and Zuho surprise the rest of their members with a camera, catching them in the heat of practicing (or in the midst of cooling down).

BTOB does a round of showing off their charms to win the hearts of the viewers, while iKON shares that they are working hard to put on their best performance. Once SF9’s Inseong sees the camera, he runs off to the side and starts practicing fervently. Zuho catches on, following him and conducting a “surprise” interview.

THE BOYZ and Stray Kids also offer their greetings from their respective rehearsals, with each group expressing confidence in their upcoming performance. THE BOYZ says they’re working hard to put on an even cooler performance than what they showed in “Road to Kingdom,” and Stray Kids mentions that they’ve been practicing so hard that they haven’t gotten much sleep.

ATEEZ reminds viewers to catch the first episode on April 1, before the video cuts to Zuho, who explains that the show is not about occupying the position of king, but rather about finding out what each king has to offer in more detail.

“Kingdom” premieres on April 1 at 7:50 p.m. KST and will be available with subtitles on Viki.
