Red Velvet's Seulgi Becomes MC For Web Music Program

Red Velvet’s Seulgi will be the MC for a new music show titled “The Wise Music Encyclopedia” (literal title)!

Music content company 11018 said it will produce an archive project called “The Wise Music Encyclopedia” that is connected to the SBS music documentary program “Legendary Stage Archive K.”

“The Wise Music Encyclopedia” is an interview-type content featuring artists who contributed to popular music history, and there will be an in-depth talk about their music lives. Global artist Seulgi will join hands with popular music critic Kim Zakka to discuss friendly and professional topics with the guests of the show.

Seulgi commented, “I am curious about the stories of the music before I was born, and the artists’ experiences will give me a chance to grow. I will play a role that makes the history of popular music fun and realistic for viewers who are around my age.”

Music content company 11018 said, “Instead of ending the much-loved ‘Legendary Stage Archive K,’ we will continue our project to archive popular music. That first content is ‘The Wise Music Encyclopedia.’ Seulgi’s interest and passion as an MC is amazing.”

“The Wise Music Encyclopedia” will air every Friday at 11018’s YouTube Channel Urigayo.
