Jung Il Woo Is Hunted Down By A Chaser In “Bossam: Steal The Fate”

MBN’s “Bossam: Steal the Fate” has released new stills ahead of its second episode!

“Bossam: Steal the Fate” is a historical drama about the fateful romance that occurs when a mysterious rogue named Ba Woo (Jung Il Woo) accidentally kidnaps Princess Soo Kyung (Yuri), the widowed daughter of King Gwanghae.

The first episode introduced the Joseon era practice known as bossam, which refers to the practice of kidnapping a widow in the middle of the night in order to be remarried to another man. The ending, which previewed the completely upended fates of Ba Woo and Princess Soo Kyung, left viewers captivated and ready for more.

In the new stills from the second episode, Jung Il Woo is stuck in a risky situation when he is confronted by Tae Chul (Yoon Joo Man), the guard of the northern faction leader Lee Yi Chum (Lee Jae Yong). Carrying a sword in his hand, he faces Jung Il Woo with a menacing aura. As Jung Il Woo glares back at his opponent, the tension between the pair is easily felt.

In the preview for the second episode, Soo Kyung’s father-in-law Lee Yi Chum began looking for the missing princess. On top of the worry that word of the princess being kidnapped might spread, King Gwanghae (Kim Tae Woo) expressed his desire to see the princess, ordering her to present herself at the royal court by the following day. As he must find Soo Kyung within a day, Lee Yi Chum is set to send out pursuers to track her down. Viewers are especially curious about where she could be hiding.

The drama’s production team commented, “The first episode revealed the ill-fated relationship between Ba Woo and Soo Kyung. From today, the two of them will begin to encounter danger. Look out for how Ba Woo, who is stunned at the realization that he had kidnapped the princess, and Soo Kyung, who regards him haughtily, get themselves out of a risky situation together.”

The next episode of “Bossam: Steal the Fate” airs on May 2 at 9:40 p.m. KST.
