Watch: Lee Je Hoon Makes Sleek Transformation Into Skillful Gambler For "Taxi Driver"
“Taxi Driver” has given another look at their set with a new behind-the-scenes clip!
SBS’s “Taxi Driver” follows the story of a mysterious taxi service that takes revenge on behalf of clients who cannot get justice from the law. Lee Je Hoon stars as Kim Do Gi, a former special forces officer who works for the service, while Esom co-stars as Kang Ha Na, a prosecutor who becomes suspicious of his activities.
The making-of clip starts with Cha Ji Yeon, who portrays Baek Sung Mi, practicing her OST “All Day” during her waiting time. She explains, “It’s a track where the lyrics express the emotions that all characters can feel, as is. Although it’s very strong and rough, it’s a song that also contains tears.”
The next scene shows Lee Je Hoon’s transformation for the illegal casino. For their shell game scene, the cast and crew receive tips from YouTuber Kim Seul Gi whose channel focuses on fraud and gambling. The YouTuber expresses his intention to recreate a gambling scene as realistic as possible but adds, “I did leave one ‘fly in the ointment’ for viewers to discover.”
While filming in a restaurant with Shim So Young, Lee Je Hoon begins a proper mukbang (eating broadcast). He then shows off his well-practiced Yanbian dialect by filming a powerful scene completing his theft.
