Shinhwa’s Kim Dong Wan has warned fans about impostors who have been impersonating him and other celebrities on social media.

On May 15, Kim Dong Wan took to Instagram Stories to share a warning about online impostors.

There have always been impostors [online], even back when I started using Facebook.

One fan has even reported that they appear to have been the victim of a romance scam by an impostor account.

There have also been instances when I myself have been contacted by an impostor impersonating a celebrity or influencer.

It’s important for you to press the alert button right away, and for you to not be deceived.

In this online world that preserves anonymity, it’s inevitable that lies and deception will run rampant, so we must make consistent efforts to remain discerning. Both myself and all of you.
