Sooyoung And Choi Tae Joon Go Through Ups And Downs In Their Relationship In "So I Married The Anti-Fan"

“So I Married the Anti-Fan” is a romantic comedy about global K-pop star Who Joon (played by Choi Tae Joon) and his anti-fan Lee Geun Young (played by Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung) who is a magazine reporter.

In episode 8, Who Joon and Lee Geun Young grew distant, but the ending of the episode provided a pleasant surprise.

For Lee Geun Young’s birthday, Who Joon playfully prepared another surprise prank. After a short moment of emotion and happiness from the surprise party, the atmosphere grew cold when JJ (Chansung) and Oh In Hyung (Han Ji An) appeared as special guests. To add to that, Who Joon heard Lee Geun Young and JJ’s conversation and mistakenly believed that she had been sharing information about him with others. Lee Geun Young tried to explain herself, but he coldly turned his back on her.

Meanwhile JJ, the cause behind the rift between Who Joon and Lee Geun Young, shocked viewers with his two-faced attitude. As Who Joon denied his relationship with Oh In Hyung, JJ said to him, “Lee Geun Young is so naive. She believed it right away,” revealing that he was intentionally causing misunderstandings between Who Joon and Lee Geun Young. When he met Lee Geun Young, he brought up a story about the time they were trainees and said, “I thought Joon had thrown me away,” to purposefully gain her sympathy.

Another misunderstanding arose when Who Joon was notified that Lee Geun Young had been specially employed to turn over information about Who Joon. Believing this news, he attempted to halt the fake marriage program. He and Lee Geun Young stood at a photo wall for a brand event for their last recording, and even when Lee Geun Young was attacked by his fans, he kept a cold attitude.

Who Joon soon found out that the rumors were not true and went directly to Lee Geun Young. She cried as she shared her side of the story, and Who Joon suddenly silenced her with a kiss. They seemed to communicate their true feelings with the eye contact they made after the kiss.
