Song Ji Hyo And Jun So Min Share Their Thoughts On Marriage, Blind Dates, And Ideal Types On “Running Man”

On the May 23 episode of SBS’s “Running Man,” the male cast members transformed into marriage agency employees to find the ideal types of their female cast members, Jun So Min and Song Ji Hyo.

Acting as “avatars” for the cast members were Lee Yong Jin and Sung Si Kyung, who were on the show as guests.

Before their “blind date” interviews, Song Ji Hyo shared that this was her first time on a blind date and asked, “What do people normally talk about?” Jun So Min said, “I normally talk about blood types or about their favorite foods, movies, and music.” In contrast to Jun So Min’s excitement, Song Ji Hyo said, “As soon as I sat down here, I wanted to go home. I feel uncomfortable with the general atmosphere of blind dates. It’s a place where two people have to get to know each other.”

During the “blind date,” Lee Yong Jin asked Jun So Min and Song Ji Hyo what they thought about marriage.

Jun So Min said, “I think that marriage is a fact of life.” Song Ji Hyo said, “I think that you come to think like that when you’re my age. There are people I know who are married, and it’s not like I haven’t dated before.”

Lee Yong Jin asked, “In that case, if you were to meet a good person, would you prefer to have a short courtship and get married quickly?” Song Ji Hyo replied, “No, I don’t want to go [into a relationship] with marriage as the goal.”

Asked how they would define a “good man,” Song Ji Hyo said, “Someone who knows what it means to apologize.”
