Cube Entertainment’s newest group has debuted!

On June 10 at 6 p.m. KST, LIGHTSUM released their debut single “Vanilla” along with the music video.

“Vanilla” is a pop dance track composed by Steven Lee, Caroline Gustavsson, and J. Littlewood, and the lyrics were written by Cho Yoon Kyung. Through the song, the eight members take the step towards the stage of their dreams.

Cube Entertainment’s new girl group LIGHTSUM has officially announced the details of their upcoming debut!

An eight-member girl group that will include former “Produce 48” contestant Han Chowon, LIGHTSUM will be making their official debut next month with their very first single.

According to Cube Entertainment, the meaning of the name LIGHTSUM is that “bright LIGHTs will come together as one SUM in order to reach everyone across the world, becoming a group that will convey more positive energy to everyone through their message of hope.”

LIGHTSUM’s debut single “Vanilla” will be released online on June 10 at 6 p.m. KST, while the physical version of the single will be released the following day, on June 11.
