"The Penthouse 3" Previews The Unpredictable Plot Twists Involving Eugene, Kim So Yeon, Lee Ji Ah, And Uhm Ki Joon

SBS’s “The Penthouse” has shared another exciting glimpse of its highly-anticipated third season!

The drama recently released two sets of stills featuring Oh Yoon Hee (Eugene), Chun Seo Jin (Kim So Yeon), Shim Soo Ryun (Lee Ji Ah), and Joo Dan Te (Uhm Ki Joon).

At the end of “The Penthouse 2,” the Hera Palace Club ended up in court for their various misdeeds. When Oh Yoon Hee confessed to the murder of Min Seol Ah (Jo Soo Min), they all became imprisoned. Oh Yoon Hee was sentenced to three years in prison, Chun Seo Jin was sentenced to seven years in prison, and Joo Dan received a life sentence.

The first set of photos show Oh Yoon Hee and Chun Seo Jin’s life in prison. They are in dramatically different atmospheres, and this hints there’s room for more twists in the drama. Oh Yoon Hee walks down the hallway in her prison uniform. She stands in blinding sunlight, and she pauses in front of someone’s cell. She grabs someone’s outstretched hand and stares at the person with a firm glare. Chun Seo Jin is also in a prison uniform, but she is sitting cross-legged in a luxurious room filled with candles, large plants, and a comfortable sofa. It will be intriguing to find out how they ended up in such contrasting situations.

Although Joo Dan Tae ended up in prison, he showed an eerie smile when he saw the words “Logan Lee (Park Eun Suk) Out D-Day 9″ on a newspaper. The final episode ended with Logan Lee getting into a terrible accident right before Shim Soo Ryun’s eyes.

The new stills depict Shim Soo Ryun being investigated at the police station. She looks completely devastated, but her eyes grow fierce when the detective tells her something. Meanwhile, Joo Dan Tae is heading to his cell with his belongings. He is showing no signs of remorse. Rather, there is a content smile on his face. Viewers are curious to find out the connection between Joo Dan Tae and Logan Lee’s death.

The production crew hinted that there will be new changes and unpredictable twists. They shared, “The revenge that was thought to be over will be reset, and the relationships between the characters and their circumstances will fluctuate. Please watch the drama to see what new goals Shim Soo Ryun and Joo Dan Tae will have and how they will take revenge in this situation where Logan Lee’s death has turned the tide.”

“The Penthouse 3” is slated to premiere on June 4 at 10 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki.
