PD Joo Dong Min Leaves SBS + Will Continue To Direct "The Penthouse"
Producing director (PD) Joo Dong Min, who directs SBS’s hit “The Penthouse” series, has left Studio S, a subsidiary of SBS.
On May 31, SBS confirmed, “It is true that PD Joo Dong Min has left Studio S. He will continue to direct ‘The Penthouse’ as a freelancer.” In response to a question about whether he will also be directing ‘Where the Snake Sits’ (literal translation), which is based on a webtoon and currently in production, SBS said, “There is nothing we can confirm about that right now.”
Joo Dong Min first joined SBS in 2004 and has worked on dramas like “Sunlight Pours Down,” “Birth Secret,” “Return,” and “The Last Empress.”
The third season of “The Penthouse” will kick off on June 4 at 10 p.m. KST. Ahead of the premiere, SBS will air a special episode titled “Hidden Room: The Beginning of the End” on June 2.
