Jeon Hye Bin, Hong Eun Hee, And More Have Icy-Cold Confrontation In “Revolutionary Sisters”

KBS 2TV’s weekend drama “Revolutionary Sisters” released new stills of the upcoming episode!

A unique blend of mystery thriller, romance, and comedy, “Revolutionary Sisters” tells the story of an entire family becoming murder suspects after the family’s mother is killed in the midst of her divorce proceedings.

Spoilers

In the previous episode, Oh Bong Ja (Lee Bo Hee) caught Lee Gwang Sik (Jeon Hye Bin) and Han Ye Seul (Kim Kyung Nam) heading on a date. Lee Gwang Sik denied they were dating, but Oh Bong Ja wasn’t fooled. She demanded they break up, and when Lee Gwang Sik refused, she told Han Ye Seul to move out of her building. Han Ye Seul, who was hurt by Lee Gwang Sik’s vehement denial that they were dating, suggested they go their separate ways, saying, “We’re going to break up one day, so let’s just break up now.”

The newly released stills depict Lee Gwang Sik facing Oh Bong Ja, Lee Gwang Nam (Hong Eun Hee), and Lee Gwang Tae (Go Won Hee). The room is thick with cold tension, and Lee Gwang Sik looks frustrated that her own aunt and sisters won’t bless her relationship with Han Ye Seul. Lee Gwang Nam angrily scolds Lee Gwang Sik, while Lee Gwang Tae looks at Lee Gwang Sik with disapproval. Oh Bong Ja’s firm expression hints that she will not yield this time.

The four actresses are always friendly and warm on the set, but during this scene, they portrayed the sharp tension between their characters. Jeon Hye Bin absorbed into her emotions during rehearsal and showed tears, which helped Lee Bo Hee, Hong Eun Hee, and Go Won Hee immerse into their roles. Once filming began, Jeon Hye Bin vividly portrayed Lee Gwang Sik’s anger and frustration, and Lee Bo Hee, Hong Eun Hee, and Go Won Hee realistically completed the scene with their teamwork.

The production team praised the four actresses for their genuine performance and hinted, “Please look forward to episode 23 that will show the outcome of Lee Gwang Sik’s confrontation with her family after her heart-breaking break-up.”

Episode 23 of “Revolutionary Sisters” will air on June 5 at 7:55 p.m. KST.
