BTS And BLACKPINK's Rosé Chosen For Billboard's Staff-Curated Best Songs Of 2021 List

Billboard recently released The 50 Best Songs of 2021 So Far: Staff Picks!

BTS’s new digital single “Butter” takes No. 28 on the list. This is their second English-language single following “Dynamite,” and it is a catchy dance pop track that begins with a captivating bass line and bright synth sound. Billboard writes, “Nothing succeeds like success, and after the explosive chart performance of ‘Dynamite’ in 2020, BTS decided to return to the formula – English-language lyrics, classic ’80s pop maximalism, a simile-based chorus hook – for this year’s ‘Butter.'”

BLACKPINK’s Rosé’s “On the Ground” grabs No. 39 on the list. “On the Ground” is the title track of her first solo single album “R.” It was produced by Teddy and 24 in collaboration with producers Jorgen Odegard, ojivolta, and Jon Bellion. Billboard praises the idol for delivering “an empowering and thoughtful song about finding purpose within yourself.”
