Shin Min Ah, Kim Seon Ho, And Lee Sang Yi Test Chemistry At 1st Script Reading For New Rom-Com

Behind-the-scenes images have been released for the first script reading of “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha”!

A remake of the film “Mr. Hong,” the upcoming tvN romance drama is about dentist Yoon Hye Jin and Hong Doo Shik, known as Mr. Hong in the village of Gongjin.

Actors including Shin Min Ah, Kim Seon Ho, Lee Sang Yi, Gong Min Jung, Kim Young Ok, Jo Han Chul, In Gyo Jin, Lee Bong Ryun, Cha Chung Hwa, Lee Yong Yi, Shin Shin Ae, and Kang Hyung Suk were present at the first script reading along with the director Yoo Je Won and writer Shin Ha Eun.

Shin Min Ah plays dentist Yoon Hye Jin, a woman who has both beauty and brains. She is bold and lovable but also clumsy at times. Kim Seon Ho has taken on the role of Hong Doo Shik, who is technically unemployed but an expert at odd jobs, helping everyone around town.

At the first script reading, the two leading actors drew smiles as they impressed with their amazing chemistry.

Lee Sang Yi also showed his strong acting skills as he perfectly transformed into his character Ji Sung Hyun, a top variety show PD (producing director).

In addition, all of the supporting actors including Gong Min Jung, Kim Young Ok, Jo Han Chul, In Gyo Jin, Lee Bong Ryun, Cha Chung Hwa, Lee Yong Yi, Shin Shin Ae, and Kang Hyung Suk got completely immersed into their characters, displaying excellent acting and great teamwork.

“Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” is scheduled to premiere in the second half of this year via tvN.
