Hong Jong Hyun Discharged From The Military

Hong Jong Hyun has finished his mandatory service!

On June 17, the actor’s agency C-JeS Entertainment shared, “Hong Jong Hyun, who enlisted as an active duty soldier in December 2019, was discharged in good health today after completing his military service of one year and six months.”

Hong Jong Hyun commented via his agency, “I have been discharged after successfully completing my military service. There were difficult times in the military, but they were times that allowed me to have valuable experiences more than anything.

He continued, “As my discharge approached, the fans who sent me off for my enlistment came to my mind a lot. When I was at the training center and at my assigned unit, I gained lots of strength while reading the letters sent by fans who have always supported me. The times I spent reading each letter gave me lots of comfort, and I think I was able to successfully complete my military service as a result. I will work harder in the future so I can be seen in many different places.”
