Watch: New Blockbuster MBC Drama Starring Namgoong Min Drops Dramatic Trailer

MBC has dropped a 90-second trailer for their highly anticipated drama “The Veil”!

MBC’s “The Veil” is a new blockbuster action drama starring Namgoong Min as Han Ji Hyuk, an elite field agent at the NIS (National Intelligence Service). After going missing for a year during a mission to eliminate an organized crime syndicate, he makes a bold return to the organization to find the traitor who dropped him into hell.

The trailer starts with a dramatic fall into the water, as Namgoong Min faces off against an unseen person, who says in a strong dialect, “You’re crazy. You’re not even at the level to be my opponent. You’re nothing to me.” A group of agents storm a boat in the middle of the ocean, while Namgoong Min receives a veiled threat from his bloodied opponent.

The scene cuts to a road and the door of a van being opened to reveal a bearded and weather-beaten Namgoong Min inside. As the National Intelligence Service is thrown into chaos by his return, Namgoong Min receives several warnings: “There will be people who try to reconcile or mediate with you. Suspect them”, “That memory isn’t just for you,” and “You can’t trust anyone here.”

A series of action sequences follows, with high-speed car chases and terror incidents breaking out on the street and in police stations. In one shot, a mysterious man looks out over the city, while in another, Namgoong Min leads some goons in torching a place. The teaser ends with a shot of the bearded Namgoong Min appearing to be tortured in some unknown location.
