Krystal, Jinyoung, And Cha Tae Hyun's Upcoming Drama Temporarily Halts Filming
KBS’s upcoming drama “Police University” has temporarily halted filming due to a staff member testing positive for COVID-19.
On June 22, KBS officially announced, “On June 16, one of the staff members for ‘Police University’ was diagnosed with COVID-19.”
The network went on to state, “The staff member diagnosed with COVID-19 has a job that involves almost no contact with the cast and crew. However, as there has been a confirmed case, the entire cast and crew of ‘Police University’ has undergone testing for COVID-19 as a precautionary measure, including those who have not had close contact with the patient.”
KBS added, “At the moment, we have temporarily halted filming, and we do not yet have [concrete plans] to resume. We are currently in the midst of adjusting our filming schedule.”
“Police University” is an upcoming drama starring f(x)’s Krystal and B1A4’s Jinyoung as students at a police university. Cha Tae Hyun will also star in the drama as a passionate detective who teaches at the university and eventually teams up with his students for a chaotic investigation.
Barring any changes to its broadcasting schedule, “Police University” is currently slated to premiere in July, following the conclusion of “At a Distance Spring is Green.”
