Watch: “LOUD” Contestants Cover BTS, ATEEZ, Wanna One, Stray Kids, And More In Head-To-Head Round 2 Battles

On the June 26 episode of SBS’s audition program “LOUD,” the performances from Round 2 continued.

“LOUD” is a new audition program from JYP Entertainment founder Park Jin Young and P NATION founder PSY, who will create two new boy groups that will debut separately under their respective agencies.

The show started off with 75 contestants and 35 were selected by either Park Jin Young or PSY to advance to Round 2. Round 2 consisted of team missions, where the contestants divided into teams and performed cover songs. The teams would go head-to-head and the lowest-ranked member of the losing team would become candidates for elimination.

In the June 26 episode, P Nation’s Choi Tae Hun and Hong Yeon Sung, who covered ATEEZ’s “I’m the One,” went up against JYP’s Lee Tae Woo and Mitsuyuki Amaru, who performed Wanna One’s “Energetic.” Lee Tae Woo and Mitsuyuki Amaru won the round and Hong Yeon Sung became a candidate for elimination.

The next match-up was between P Nation’s Maeda Haruto and Kang Gie Mook, who covered iKON’s “Killing Me,” and JYP’s Lee Su Jae, Nam Yun Seung, and Zo Doo Hyun, who covered BTS’s “Black Swan.” Lee Su Jae, Nam Yun Seung, and Zo Doo Hyun’s team won the round and Kang Gie Mook became a candidate for elimination.

P Nation’s Moon Hyeok Jun and Okamoto Keiju covered MCND’s “Crush,” while JYP’s Oh Sung Jun and Youn Dong Yeon covered TREASURE’s “Going Crazy,” with Oh Sung Jun and Youn Dong Yeon winning the round and Okamoto Keiju becoming a candidate for elimination.

JYP’s Tanaka Koki, Na Yun Seo, and Jang Hyun Soo covered Stray Kids’ “God’s Menu,” while P Nation’s Cheon Jun Hyeok, Kim Min Seoung, and Yoon Min covered Wanna One’s “Boomerang,” with the two teams tying with 191 points. Cheon Jun Hyeok, Kim Min Seoung, and Yoon Min’s team won because their individual members received a higher amount of points, and Na Yun Seo became a candidate for elimination.

“LOUD” airs on Saturdays at 9 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki.
