SEVENTEEN To Resume Activities Following End Of Self-Quarantine

SEVENTEEN will be resuming their activities!

Previously, the group had to postpone their comeback promotions for “Your Choice” after two staff members tested positive for COVID-19. Although all the members underwent testing and received negative results, they still had to self-quarantine from June 19 to June 29.

On June 29, their agency Pledis Entertainment released the following statement:

Hello, this is Pledis Entertainment.

We are releasing information regarding the resumption of SEVENTEEN’s activities for their eighth mini album.

The disease prevention authorities classified all SEVENTEEN members as close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 cases, and they had to self-quarantine from the evening of June 19 (Saturday) to noon of June 29 (Tuesday).

The artists received negative results from their initial tests and faithfully entered a period of isolation without any symptoms. The results of the subsequent PCR testing that took place on June 29 at 10 a.m. before their self-quarantine was over also came out negative.

Since the self-quarantine period requested by the disease prevention authorities has ended, SEVENTEEN will sequentially carry out their activities for their eighth mini album starting today.

Thank you for showing concern and support for SEVENTEEN.

We will do our best for the health and safety of our artists, and we will continue to follow COVID-19 guidelines and preventative measures.

Thank you.

SEVENTEEN made a comeback on June 18 with the EP “Your Choice” and title track “Ready to Love.”
