TXT Becomes 1st K-Pop Artist To Spend 3 Weeks On Billboard 200 With 2021 Album

TXT’s “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” has become the first K-pop album of 2021 to spend three weeks on the Billboard 200!

For the week ending on July 3, TXT successfully remained on Billboard’s famous Top 200 Albums chart—its weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States—at No. 82. The album previously debuted at No. 5 on the chart earlier this month, then dropped to No. 34 in its second week.

Not only is “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” now TXT’s longest-charting album on the Billboard 200, but it is also the first—and so far, only—K-pop album of the year to remain on the chart for three weeks.

Only five other K-pop artists in history have ever had an album chart on the Billboard 200 for three weeks or more: BTS, BLACKPINK, SuperM, NCT, and NCT 127.

Additionally, “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” stayed strong at No. 3 on Billboard’s World Albums chart, and it rose to No. 8 on both Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and Top Current Album Sales chart in its fourth week.

Three of TXT’s songs from “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” also held steady on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart this week. “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)” maintained its position at No. 14, followed by their English-language track “Magic” at No. 15 and their viral B-side “Anti-Romantic” at No. 21. Meanwhile, TXT charted at No. 68 on Billboard’s Artist 100 this week.

Congratulations to TXT!
