SF9's Inseong, Kim Sejeong, Kim Hee Sun, And More Test Negative For COVID-19 After Cha Ji Yeon Tests Positive

After musical actress Cha Ji Yeon tested positive for COVID-19, her colleagues have been tested for the virus.

Cha Ji Yeon halted her activities after testing positive for COVID-19 on the morning of July 4. She had been acting in the musical “Red Book” and preparing to appear in the musical “Gwanghwamun Love Song” and the drama “The Bride of Black” (literal title).

The “Red Book” show was cancelled that day, and the actors who came into contact with Cha Ji Yeon were tested for COVID-19. This includes Kim Sejeong, SF9’s Inseong, and Ivy who were all revealed to have tested negative on July 5.

Inseong’s agency FNC Entertainment stated, “We are waiting for the health authorities to inform us of whether or not he is considered a close contact. As a precaution, the comeback event on July 5 will be carried out by the eight members excluding Inseong.” SF9 makes their comeback with their ninth mini album “TURN OVER” at 6 p.m. KST today (July 5).

On her Instagram, Kim Sejeong revealed the text message that confirms she tested negative and added, “I will keep many possibilities open, but this is yesterday’s result. I will still be careful for the time being.”

“Red Book” also stated through an official statement that all actors and staff involved in the musical had received negative COVID-19 test results.

The agencies of Kim Hee Sun and Lee Hyun Wook, who are starring in the upcoming drama “The Bride of Black,” revealed on July 5 that the actors tested negative. The drama’s production team will pause filming for the time being and follow government guidelines.

We wish Cha Ji Yeon a quick recovery.
