ENHYPEN Tops Oricon's Daily Singles Chart With Japanese Debut Single
ENHYPEN proved the power of fourth generation idols with their Japanese debut single grabbing the No. 1 spot on Oricon’s daily singles chart!
ENHYPEN made their Japanese debut on July 6 with the album “BORDER : 儚い” (“BORDER: Hakanai”). According to Oricon, “BORDER: Hakanai” sold 150,254 copies and topped Oricon’s daily singles chart.
ENHYPEN garnered much attention among Japanese listeners when they debuted. Their first mini album “BORDER: DAY ONE” topped the Oricon daily album chart and reached number two No. 2 on the weekly album chart in December. The album also topped the iTunes top albums chart in Japan.
ENHYPEN’s second mini album “BORDER: CARNIVAL” topped Oricon’s weekly album chart for two weeks in a row. The album also topped Billboard Japan’s Hot Album and Top Album Sales charts.
Their Japanese debut album features three songs including an original Japanese track titled “Forget Me Not.” The other two are the Japanese versions of their title track “Given-Taken” from “BORDER: DAY ONE” and follow-up song “Let Me In (20 CUBE).”
