"The Penthouse 3" Responds To Reports Of 1-Episode Extension
SBS’s 12-episode drama “The Penthouse 3” might be getting an extension of one episode.
On July 7, OSEN reported that the production team and main actors of “The Penthouse 3” are discussing a potential one-episode extension. The actors originally signed contracts to star in 12 episodes.
A source from the broadcasting industry shared with OSEN, “I’ve heard that there was a proposal to extend ‘The Penthouse 3’ to 13 episodes from the original 12 episodes, so they’re discussing the matter. Nothing has been revealed about the exact ending so far.”
However, a source from the drama clarified to MyDaily, “Nothing has been decided regarding a one-episode extension from the original 12 episodes to 13 episodes.”
Previously, the first and second seasons of “Penthouse” were extended by an additional episode each to be 21 episodes and 13 episodes long, respectively.
According to OSEN, the drama’s cast and staff are currently almost done with filming episode 7 of “The Penthouse 3.”
“The Penthouse 3” is airing every Friday at 10 p.m. KST. Five episodes have been released so far.
