LOONA’s agency released a new statement on July 21 to announce the group’s resumption of activities. Read the translation below:

On July 10, after LOONA’s staff member tested positive for COVID-19, we announced that the members and their other staff had tested negative for COVID-19 after preemptive PCR testing.
At this, we temporarily halted the promotional activities for their fourth mini album “&,” entered self-quarantine according to health authority guidelines, and set up a system to ensure the health and safety of the artists. We decided that there would be no issues with carrying out the scheduled activities now and plan to resume promotions.
On July 20, LOONA and the staff members were all retested for COVID-19 through PCR testing before returning to promotions, and everyone tested negative.
We will do our best to ensure that LOONA can carry out their activities in a safe environment, so we ask the fans to show their support and love.
We deeply apologize for causing worry during a time when safety should be the highest priority, and we thank the fans for showing concern.
BlockBerry Creative will continue to prioritize the safety and health of the artists and staff, follow the guidelines set by health authorities, and do our best to quickly respond to sudden emergencies that may occur at any time.
All the members of LOONA tested negative for COVID-19.
On July 10, their agency BlockBerry Creative released the following statement:
Hello, this is BlockBerry Creative.
On July 9, one of LOONA’s staff members was diagnosed with COVID-19, so all of the members of LOONA (HeeJin, Haseul, HyunJin, YeoJin, ViVi, Kim Lip, JinSoul, Choerry, Yves, Chuu, Go Won, and Olivia Hye) and employees who worked with them preemptively tested for the virus through PCR testing.
All of the members of LOONA as well as the staff members received a negative result.
Although there was no request from health authorities, we have decided to suspend the activities of their fourth mini album “&,” and they will all go into self-quarantine starting from today (July 10) in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and for the health and safety of our artists.
We will follow the public health authorities’ guidelines and decide whether or not LOONA will resume their activities.
We apologize for causing concern to Orbits (fandom name) and many people who might have been surprised by the sudden news.
We will adhere to all social distancing measures in order to ensure the health and safety of artists.
