TWICE's "Alcohol-Free" Reclaims No. 1; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2021, July Week 2

TWICE’s “Alcohol-Free” recaptures the top spot this week! After narrowly missing a chance of maintaining No. 1 last week, “Alcohol-Free” moves back up one spot to the top of our chart. Congratulations again to TWICE!

BTS’s “Butter” also moves back up one spot to No. 2. Last week’s champion, Brave Girls’ “Chi Mat Ba Ram,” drops two spots to No. 3 this week.

There are three new songs in the top 10 this week.

NCT DREAM’s latest title track “Hello Future” enters at No. 4. The title track from their first repackaged album, “Hello Future” is hip hop dance track with a powerful synth sound and trap rhythm. The energetic song has a hopeful message of overcoming struggles to grow together with love and trust.

Debuting at No. 6 is JSDK’s “Only You,” one of the two title tracks from “How Do You Play?” project group MSG Wannabe’s first album. Written by Brown Eyed Soul’s Naul and Young Jun, “Only You” is a retro style R&B ballad confessing love to a special someone.

After a hiatus of five years, 2PM successfully returns to the top 10 with “Make it,” debuting at No. 8. The title track from 2PM’s seventh studio album “MUST,” the song is written by member Wooyoung and is about facing irresistible pull and encountering something that must be done.
