Elton John gave BTS an adorable shout-out on Twitter!

On July 11 KST, the legendary English artist took to social media to show love for BTS’s latest hit.

The lyrics of BTS’s new song “Permission to Dance” include a brief reference to Elton John—at the very beginning, RM sings, “When it all seems like it’s wrong/Just sing along to Elton John”—and the singer soon took notice.

Playfully riffing off the line, Elton John wrote, “When it all seems like it’s right, I sing along to BTS,” then added the hashtag #PermissionToDance.
