SF9's Chani To Leave "Music Core" MC Position After More Than 2 Years

Chani will be leaving his MC position on “Music Core.”

The SF9 member became an MC of the MBC music show on February 16, 2019. For two years and five months, Chani impressed with stable hosting skills and showed strong chemistry with fellow MCs including Kang Mina, Stray Kids’ Hyunjin, and Kim Min Ju.

He commented ahead of his final broadcast, “I learned and realized a lot while at ‘Music Core’ for over two years. I am sincerely grateful to the production team who always welcomed me warmly, the MCs I worked together with, and the viewers who love ‘Music Core.’ Although I’m a bit sad [to leave the position], I will work to show continuous improvement no matter where I am. I sincerely thank everyone once again.”

Chani’s final episode as an MC will air on July 17. Following this episode, “Music Core” will not air for three weeks from July 24 through August 7 due to broadcasting of the Tokyo Olympics.
