3 Key Points To Look Out For In The Final Episodes Of

There are just two episodes left in KBS’s “Imitation”!

Based on a hit webtoon, “Imitation” is about the work and love lives of idols in the current generation, when there are hundreds of idol groups competing for a chance in the spotlight.

Here are three points to look out for in the final two episodes:

Will Jung Ji So and Lee Jun Young’s romance go public or stay secret?

Jung Ji So plays Ma Ha, an idol in the girl group Tea Party, and Lee Jun Young plays Kwon Ryoc, an idol in the popular boy group SHAX. Ma Ha and Kwon Ryoc had cautiously begun a romantic relationship, but when it was discovered by SHAX’s agency CEO, Mr. Park (Gong Jung Hwan), they had no choice but to end their relationship for the sake of their other group members. Despite their breakup, the two idols continued to have feelings for each other, and their love is only growing. With the agency threatening them and their members being against their relationship, will Ma Ha and Kwon Ryoc choose to go public with their romance or keep it a secret?

Can Tea Party, SHAX, LALIMA, and Sparkling stand at the top?

Tea Party, SHAX, LALIMA, and Sparkling are all idols, but have experienced different levels of success. The Tea Party members were able to get over the bitterness of being unknown idols and make a new debut, finding success with individual promotions and having their old days as Omega 3 rediscovered and gain the spotlight. SHAX is a top-tier idol group, but their existence is always under threat from their abusive agency CEO. LALIMA (T-ara’s Jiyeon) is a successful solo artist, but when her agency was absorbed into NOG, she got into conflict with her CEO and eventually left her agency. Sparkling’s agency was also acquired by NOG and the group was notified that they might be completely reorganized into a new group.

Why did Chani disappear?

SF9’s Chani made a brief but memorable impression as former SHAX member Eunjo, who suddenly disappeared during a SHAX concert three years ago. Eunjo had been dating Annie, a former trainee of Omega 3, who tragically took her own life. There are questions about what occurred between the two of them and whether NOG’s Mr. Park was involved in the incident, but Kwon Ryoc is getting closer to finding out the truth about what really happened.

“Imitation” airs on Fridays at 11:20 p.m. KST. The final two episodes will air on July 16 and July 23.
