Watch: Kim Sae Ron And Nam Da Reum Question The Truth Behind A Chilling Case In Teaser For “The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim”

Kakao TV’s upcoming drama “The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim” released a new teaser!

“The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim” is a fantasy romance drama starring Kim Sae Ron as Ga Doo Shim, a teenager with supernatural abilities who just wants to be an ordinary high school student and escape her fate of becoming a shaman. Nam Da Reum co-stars as Na Woo Soo, the school’s “golden boy” who starts seeing ghosts after meeting Ga Doo Shim.

The new teaser introduces Ga Doo Shim, the shaman who can see ghosts. As she walks the school halls, she shares, “My 18th year is in danger.” Furthermore, Ga Doo Shim appears with an ax in hand, previewing a confrontation with a mysterious figure as soon as she transfers to Songyoung High School. Meanwhile, Na Woo Soo is shown to be the school’s first place student. On the day Ga Doo Shim transfers to the new school, the student who ranked last place in the entire school takes his own life. A frightening voice in the background states, “If you want to live, study to death. If you don’t want to end up like this guy.”

Ga Doo Shim appears skeptical about the series of suicide cases at the school, and she asks, “You take your own life if you place last in school?” The students’ rankings appear on the chalkboard as another student comments, “It’s not suicide,” despite it not looking like anything else. Na Woo Soo similarly expresses his suspicions as he examines the location of the incident. He comments how unlikely it would be for the last place student to break open the locked door to the roof and jump off without hesitation. Finally, Ga Doo Shim shares, “My grandmother said that as long as I pass my 18th year safely, I would live a long and happy life.”

The drama will be even more frightening because it takes place in the familiar location of a school. The exorcist duo Ga Doo Shim and Na Woo Soo will captivate viewers as they share similar experiences while maturing together in a world where they can see and communicate with ghosts.

The production team shared, “We plan to deliver thrilling excitement this summer through a unique topic, charming characters, and a tight story with a school as the background. The 20-minute mid-form episodes will deliver an even more powerful sense of immersion, so please tune in a lot.”
