BTS's "MIC Drop" Remix Becomes Their 4th MV To Achieve 1 Billion Views

BTS’s “MIC Drop” remix has joined the “1 billion” club on YouTube!

On July 26 around 8 p.m. KST, the music video for “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)” surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube. The MV was released on November 24, 2017, meaning that it took about 3 years, 8 months, and 2 days to reach the impressive milestone.

This is BTS’s fourth music video to surpass the 1 billion views mark, after “DNA,” “Boy With Luv,” and “Dynamite.” The only other Korean artists with music videos over 1 billion views are PSY and BLACKPINK. BTS currently holds the record for fastest Korean group music video to reach 1 billion views after “Dynamite” did it in 7 months and 22 days.
