Watch: Mnet Survival Show "Girls Planet 999" Teases Fierce Competition In New Preview

Mnet has shared a new sneak peek of its upcoming audition program “Girls Planet 999”!

The newly released teaser begins with the 99 contestants, who are divided into “K” (Korean), “J” (Japanese) and “C” (Chinese) groups by their nationalities, arriving on set for the first time. As the contestants express their determination to make it into the top nine, one trainee remarks in awe, “This really is a competition.”

The contestants go on to express their awe as they watch the other groups perform, praising their talents and looks.

Later, when prompted to say a few words to fellow contestant Choi Yu Jin (of CLC), Chinese contestant Fu Ya Ning surprises everyone on set by challengingly remarking, “We go up! But you don’t.”

The clip ends with host Yeo Jin Goo announcing that the contestants will be divided into units of three, which will be made up of one member from each of the three groups (K, J, and C). “Either all of the three members will make it to the next round,” he says, “or all three will be eliminated together.”
